I am really really tired today. I stayed up late last night reading a magazine. I didn't realize how late it was. oops. We are doing anything in my classes and teachers are running out of things to teach. I have to read another book in Ms. Fox's class but I heard it is really easy reading. I hope so. I have no energy to use my brain anymore.

Our stupid school district is going bankrupt. You have to pay to play any sport. We have pay $100 to be in band. Isn't that insane?!?!? Our school district could save money by not having the TV system that doesn't ever work, awnings over the lunch lines (it is not like it is going to rain inside) or not keep the school so freak'n cold. It is like 60 degrees in there. I could solve our problems.

American Idol result show tonight. Joshua Gracin really needs to go home. He is not as talented as the others and Trenyce should still be in the show. I always watched to she what she would wear. I hope Clay Aiken wins. He is the best singer and performer. YAY!

Guess What?!? I am finished with my tone project. I turned it in today during english class. I feel like a burden was lifted off of my shoulders. I even had a decent night's sleep last night too. yay. I have my band audition on Thursday. I guess I should start learning my music. te he he!

HAPPY MAY DAY!!! YAY! It is finally the month of may. I have been waiting for this month to come because I am sick of school and need a whole summer to catch up on my sleep. My tone project is due in 6 days and I am freaking out. Oh well... I will finish it in time. I know it.

Guess What?? I have good news. During World History today, my teacher took me aside and told me that since I have had a 100 average in her class this whole six weeks that I was exempt from the exam. I can use my exemption form for another class. I am so excited. I was debating whether to exempt history or english but now I don't have to decide. It really pays to study. This one of my only classes that I actually try hard in. YAY.

My sister comes home in 6 days. I can't wait to see her bright and shining smile. I have to finish Intruder in the Dust tonight. I hope I am able to do so!!! April showers bring May flowers!

Today was my first time taking the infamous TAKS test. As you know TAAS ceases to exist and TAKS has taken over. All of the practice test we took to prepare for this test were butt hard and I was actually afraid for it. Only about 3 people out of every PreAP class passed. Isn't that amazing??? Well, the test today was a happy medium. Yes, it wasn't the piece of cake but it was the like the butt hard practice tests we took. It was really nice to have only 30 minute classes today because we didn't have time to do anything.

My sister did something naughty! I am so glad she followed my advice. She called me and told me she got her cartelege pierced. I have always wanted to do that. I wonder if my parents will notice it because they are not very good at picking up on things like this. My sister comes home exactly one week from today. Jaclyn, I am praying that you will do good on all of your finals. I am excited to be able to stay up late every night to talk to my best friend. I will also get fit because we laugh so much together.

I got the application for my church's youth mission trip and I am really sad that I can not go. It is the week before and the week after my surgery. I was really looking forward to going this year to Acuna, Mexico. They are building at really really big room so that is why it is 2 weeks long this year. Oh well. I have 2 more chances to go.

I am back from the beach a tired and worn out girl. I had a blast at Corpus Christi this past weekend. It was the annual band trip and I have decided that I liked this in state trip better than last year's trip to Orlando. Orlando was so rushed and we were constantly waiting in lines. In Corpus, we were relaxed and I was on the beach having the time of my life.

It took seven hours to get there and I was about to die of boredom. You can only watch so many movies. When we arrived in Corpus we went to the grocery store and bought food for the weekend because we had to cook for ourselves. What a view my condo had!! I feel asleep watching the tide go in and out. It also wasn't very hot there so it was a very pleasant experience.

We had contest on Saturday and of course windensemble had an excellent performance and received straight 1's. That night was meals for mustangs when we made a special dinner to share with a lot of people. My condo made tacos and they were the best I have ever eaten. I don't know if it was because I was really hungry or if they were actually good.

The band volleyball tournament was on Sunday and my poor little team got creamed. We lost 15 to 2. Isn't that miserable!!!! The rest of the day we got sunburn and worn out by having so much fun in the sun. I am so glad I am in band. I have never had such a good time with all of my friends. The only bad part about going on band trip... is that you are really stressed when you get home. I have so much make up work and projects to do. My tone project is due in 7 days and I have only written one paragraph!!! EEK!!

Today was an exciting yet stressful day. As I am getting all excited for band trip on Friday, I am getting all the assignments I am going to miss. The Chemistry Test, the Clause test in Ms.Fox's class. I also found out that the infamous tone project is due May 6th. That is less than 2 weeks and I have to write like 7 papers!! I am screwed. Oh well. I will just not sleep for a couple weeks.

Band Trip is on Friday and I am so excited that I am about to pee in my pants. Corpus Christi here I come!! I am going to be having a blast on the beach with all of my friends. No better vacation in known to man!!!!!!! YAY!!
